Usually the second, third, fourth or even fifth book of a series is never as good as the first but, I am glad to say, that was not the case with "Clockwork Prince", the second book in the series "The Infernal Devices" by Cassandra Clare. After the Shadowhunters' previous encounter with Mortmain, "The Magister" mysteriously disappeared, leaving no traces, clues or witnesses to ya where he had gone. Now it is up to Tessa, Will, Jem, Charlotte, Henry and the other Shadowhunters to find him or else, thanks to Benedict Lightwood, they might have to give up their Institute, not to mention letting Mortmain get away with his plans. Tessa must further master her powers if they wish to catch Mortmain and any of his possible allies, and she is crucial to the Shadowhunters' plans. Will they rise to the challenge? Or will they fail, causing the Institute to go to Benedict Lightwood? The clock is ticking for Tessa and her friends and nothing can change that.

"Clockwork Prince", like it's sequel, was a very fast read, oozing with the kind of action, mystery, betrayal, humor and romance you only find in teen novels. I am delighted to say that this book did not disappoint... It made me cry, laugh and even scream with frustration and confusion, just like a book should. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who read the first book in the series and loved it. If you have not yet read the series I would recommend it to any teenage girl who likes fiction, action and/or romance novels. If you have read "The Mortal Instruments" series then these books are a must-read. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can't wait to get started on the next one.

I liked very much your summary and the way you make the reader want more. I loved how you end your paragraph with a set of questions, this way leaving the reader with a feeling of intrigue. This summary makes me want to read the book again. You did an amazing job! Congratulations!

Caeleigh, is this even real? I have never heard about this book and inly by reading your review I will get in the job to find it. When I first saw the picture of the cover ( I judge a lot a book by its cover) I wasn't interested at all, I couldn't imagine such a complete and juicy story behind that cover that looks 200 years old. However I really enjoyed your writing style and will absolutely recommend this blog as a feedback to people who are looking forward to read good books.

I really appreciate your summary, you were very specific and I like the way you supported your ideas. I also like how you described the book, it seems that is really good.
