I, for example, procrastinate ALL THE TIME. I even did it when it came to this blog (I did it the day before). In my defense, the things I usually put off are boring and/or I'm waiting for inspiration to hit me, and, to quote "Calvin and Hobbes", what better inspiration than last-minute panic? If everything [were interesting] , I [would never procrastinate] (Complex Sentence). To be honest, I usually get more things done under pressure and with a deadline nearby, it`s good to get my brain gears turning.
However, I believe that everyone has different ways of procrastinating. Some people make up excuses, some just are lazy, some people are actually busy and don't have as much time, others watch TV and decide to "Do it later," etc. I usually watch movies, listen to music, read a book or make myself a time-consuming snack. Once I made myself a 40 minute snack composed of a granola bar and a glass of milk... Ridiculous right? Well, I had an extremely boring assignment to do and I didn't exactly feel like being bored at the moment. That's the thing about procrastination, there is always an excuse. I think the best solution to procrastination is to just get the job done, later.
